Although currently BC government records say this house was built in 1910, we have had information from local residents which contradict that date. Rod Szasz, who grew up in this neighbourhood, told us that:

“This is not the original house built in 1910. The original house was completely of a different design, one story crawlspace. three bedrooms kitchen – dining, living and bathroom. and all of them rather small. I do not see any remnant of the original house. In fact from what I have seen when it was originally added on to, and what it has become it is hard to see where any remnant of the original house is extant.. though there may an odd timber or two re-purposed… None of that detracts from the beauty of this now, newer 1990s home. It does however rectify a historical assertion.”

We will add more historical information in future.
