It is currently occupied by Salamander Books.

539 1st Avenue is located in a commercial building consisting of four separate store fronts at 531-535-539-541 1st Avenue. The building was originally built in 1945 and has been configured as four separate store fronts since it was first built.

The building is currently divided into four separate commercial strata units, one for each of the four store front spaces. The entire building was sold on 28 February 2018 as part of multi-property real estate transaction.
